Someone sent you 0.001 USDT. Don't touch it.

That's a dust attack. Your wallet gets a tiny transfer from an unknown address — sometimes as a token with a link baked into its name, like "claim your reward".

Why they do it:

• Tracking. Spend the "dust" together with your other coins and the attacker links your addresses into one cluster.
• Bait. The link in the token name leads to a drainer site: sign once, lose everything.
• Setup. Dust from a dirty address leaves a trace in your history that compliance will notice later.

What to do:

• don't send the dust anywhere, don't "return" it
• don't open links from token names — just hide the token
• screen the sender's address: if it's sanctioned or in scam reports, you know what to expect
